General Education Requirements The Associate degrees requires 30 credits in the general education. There are few specific requirements to allow maximum flexibility. The 30-credit requirement in general education provides students with a broad background in English, humanities, social sciences and mathematics. Each student will complete a year of English composition and at least one course (3 credits) each in humanities, social sciences and mathematics.
