Associate of Applied Business

The Associate of Applied Business (AAB) degree is intended to meet the educational needs of management in different occupations. The student selects the option that matches his/her requirement.

The Associate in Business degree requires 60 credits as follows-

Occupational Specialization

The Occupational Specialization includes 32-credits of courses within the  specialization area selected. There are many career tracks available within each broad occupational specialization area. New career tracks are developed as needed.

Students may earn this degree in one of the following occupational specialization of study:

• Aviation Management
• Accounting and Finance
• Project Management

Occupational Free Electives

The Occupational Free Electives category includes 12 credits which are related with the selected occupational specialization.

Computer Requirement

One 4-credit course in the broad area of computer science or computer concepts is required. For some options, the computer requirement must be met by a computer programming course, and for others it may be satisfied by a wide variety of computer courses. Courses that only cover the use of applications packages are not acceptable.
