About Us

Institute of Research and Development Studies of Bangladesh Ltd. (IRDSB) has legally established under the act of Ministry of Commerce of Bangladesh with registration No. C- 116675/14 to operate as an Educational & Research Centre aims to democratize higher education by providing it to the students at their door step irrespective of age/sex/caste/territory.

In accordance with National Education Policy (2010) of Govt. of Bangladesh, IRDSB aims to propagate and develop Professional Higher education and Research facility through On-line/Distance education methodology, obtaining in Bangladesh in general and at Dhaka in particular.

The programs are designed and moderated by the Experts of the Newport University CED, Latvia, European Union and other foreign partner universities and professional bodies from UK and have the facility to offer 100% on-line programs under the tutelage of live professors in the field of Business, Science and Arts with English as Medium of Instructions. It has valuable Library containing Books, Journals and Magazines on all selected subjects and study material in respect of all the Programs.

Mission

As a research and professional development institution, our primary aim is to advance the frontier of academic research in the fields of science, business and arts, thus contributing to the creation of new knowledge. The secondary aim of the institute is to contribute to society through educational and awareness-generating activities that are based on advanced research as well as industry-academia-government collaborative research.

Objectives

• To provide tailor made on-site training courses on demand basis of the different organizations for their personnels to improve their professional skills.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program leading to Professional Certification (12 to 24 Months)

MBA major in Accounting or Finance program has blended with the UK Professional Certification programs leading to Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Financial Manager (CFM), those has been designed to provide for the adjustment of variation in the backgrounds of the students.

Applicants who wish to be considered for MBA studies should normally process a relevant Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification approved by the concern university.

Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program leading to Professional Doctoral Fellowship (24 to 36 Months)

The overall goal of this DBA is to develop practicing managers and business professionals as both thinkers and doers and equip them with capability to make a leadership contribution to their own organization and the wider global industries and communities in which they are involved.

As distinct from PhD research that focuses mainly on contribution to theoretical knowledge, the research emphasis of this DBA is on making a contribution to professional practice and/or policy.

Candidates are assessed by research paper (100%)

Applicants who wish to be considered for DBA studies should normally process a relevant Master degree or equivalent qualification approved by the concern university.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Program leading to Professional Doctoral Fellowship (24 to 36 Months)

Doctoral degree is only offered to matured candidates holding Master degree and with sufficient exposure to teaching, practice and research and be able to conduct their own research to complete and submit their thesis to the international examination committee of the concern university through the concern representative in their respective country.

Candidates are assessed by research paper (100%)
